Cabot Health Calcium Complete, a formula of a well-absorbed form of calcium, when combined with additional nutrients is good for bone strength. Calcium is the most found mineral in our body and is essential to develop and maintain strong and healthy teeth and bones.
Supports healthy teeth.
Supports calcium absorption in bones.
Enhances metabolism of calcium in bones.
Diet not having enough calcium may lead to osteoporosis in later life. Calcium intake may help prevent osteoporosis when dietary intake is not adequate.
Vitamin D helps calcium absorption and a diet not having enough calcium may lead to osteoporosis in later life.
Each tablet contains:
Calcium citrate hydrate (elemental calcium 221.55 mg) 1050 mg
Hydroxyapatite (elemental calcium 60 mg) 240 mg
Total elemental calcium 82.51 mg
Magnesium oxide – heavy (elemental magnesium 131.4 mg) 227 mg
Manganese amino acid chelate (elemental manganese 1.0 mg) 10 mg
Zinc gluconate ( elemental zinc 875 mcg) 6.7 mg
Menaquinone 7 (vitamin K2) 8.25 mcg
Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 12.5 mcg / (500IU)
Copper gluconate (elemental copper 490 mcg) 3.5 mg
Boron (as borax) 750 mcg
Not added: Gluten, dairy, lactose, yeast, artificial flavours, colours, sweeteners and preservatives.
1-4 tablets daily, or as directed by their health professional.
Cautions and Contraindications:
Some people get constipation problem while taking calcium supplements, especially if they contain calcium carbonate in it. Constipation problem can be reduced by consuming more water and fibre.
Calcium interferes with the absorption of the osteoporosis drug alendronate (Fosamax), so they should be taken 2 hrs apart. Calcium with thiazide diuretics enhances the risk of excessively high blood calcium levels.
