Thyroid health capsules is a combination of the key nutrients that are needed for healthy thyroid function. The thyroid, a vitally important organ, is responsible for regulating metabolism. The thyroid capsules support the metabolic rate and assist to relieve feelings of fatigue and tiredness.

Selenium is used to produce selenoproteins – antioxidant enzymes that are required for adequate thyroid function. It is needed for the production of thyroid hormones and to convert the inactive thyroid hormone (T4) into its active form (T3) to be utilised in the body.
• Contains iodine: This important mineral is needed for the production of T3 and T4 thyroid hormones. A deficiency of iodine may hinder the production of these thyroid hormones and could affect thyroid function. Fucus vesiculosus is a type of kelp that has been used in our Thyroid Health capsules that provides a natural source of iodine.
• Contains vitamin D3: It helps to maintain healthy thyroid function.
• Contains zinc – This mineral also plays a vital role in assisting a healthy thyroid function.

Fucus vesiculosus whole plant (kelp) 533 mg
(providing 160 mcg iodine)

Nutrients:

Selenium (as selenomethionine) 100 mcg
Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 1000 IU
Zinc 5 mg

Dose:
Adults:
1 capsule daily, with food or as directed by your health practitioner.

This product contains selenium that is toxic in high doses. Recommended daily dose of 150mcg of selenium should not be exceeded.
Not to be used in those with an overactive thyroid gland, unless urinary iodine levels are checked and the patient’s health practitioner recommends iodine supplementation.
