Cabot Health Tyrosine helps to support and enhance mood, memory concentration, and alertness. It is an amino acid required to produce important brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) that is critical for the production of thyroid hormones and the synthesis of proteins, muscle tissues, and enzymes in the body. Tyrosine Mood Food consists of a highly potent and pure form of tyrosine which does not contain any additives or fillers.

Cautions and Contraindications:
Tyrosine supplements should not be taken by people using monoamine oxidase inhibitor antidepressant drugs (eg. Parnate and Nardil).
Tyrosine may cause a severe rise in blood pressure in people taking these medications.
Tyrosine should not be taken at the same time as the Parkinson’s medication, Levodopa (L-dopa).
